The fact is that design is by nature a collaboration between the designer and the client. There are many things that must come together to create a well-developed design. All designs are equations that need to be solved. The client provides the structure and the content and the designer’s job is to hide the framework and the structure - to make it convey a message by using color, type and imagery to help develop a brand that is easily recognizable. Design is just as much about following the rules as it is about breaking them. Every problem has a solution and many have more than one. But design is more than just a solution - it needs to take into account production methods, deadlines, and cost of materials as well as in today’s green world environmental impact.
